A calm, private reader for your own books
EPUB, PDF, comics and manga, on your Android device. No ads, no accounts, no tracking.
Coming soon to Google PlayWhat Liber does
Your books, your formats
EPUB, PDF, MOBI, AZW3, FB2 and plain text, plus comics and manga in CBZ, CBR and CB7. Add them from your device, Google Drive, Dropbox or any files app.
Made for reading
Pages or scrolling, fonts and spacing you choose, highlights and notes, a dictionary that works offline, and read aloud with your device's own voices.
Comics and manga
Right-to-left reading, two-page spreads, long-strip webtoons, and fast page turns even on large files.
Calm by design
No pop-ups, no streak nagging, no "you might also like". Liber opens to your library and gets out of the way.
Easier for everyone
OpenDyslexic, wider spacing, bold text, high contrast, a reading ruler, left-handed page turns and TalkBack support. All free.
E-ink friendly
A black-and-white mode with no animations, page turns with the volume buttons, and settings for colour e-ink screens.
Private by design
Liber has no accounts and no servers. Everything you do in it stays on your device. If you want your reading in step across devices, connect a service of your own, such as Google Drive, Dropbox or your own Nextcloud, and Liber talks to it directly. Nothing passes through us.
Read the privacy policy. It's short.
Free, with an optional Premium
Reading is free, with no limits and no ads. A one-time Premium purchase adds extra themes and a theme editor, reading stats and goals, enhanced read aloud, auto-scroll, exporting your notes, sync and cloud backups, watched folders and home-screen goal widgets. No subscription.
